Is snorkel safe?

A few tips to stay safe while snorkeling with Cancun Sailing.

  • Snorkeling is done in the open sea, so your feet will not touch the ground.
  • Be aware that the tide can be strong at times.
  • Wearing the life jacket is mandatory at all times during the snorkel.
  • Minors can't go into the water without adult supervision.
  • ⚠️ Avoid going into the open sea if you are pregnant, you have hearth or lung disease, stroke, or you are out of shape to swim for 30 minutes.
  • If you feel tired, the activity feels too difficult, or you feel cramps, let the crew know!
  • Don't walk on the deck while wearing the fins. 
  • Perform this activity at your own risk.
